Terms & Conditions Of Sale - Furniture

The Company may revise these Terms at any time without notice to you and you agree to such version of the Terms then in force at the time of your purchase of our products and / or use of our services. Please feel free to speak with one of our sales staff if you have need any clarification.
1.
Ordering our products
1.1
Once an order has been accepted by the Company, no cancellation of that order will be accepted. Your payment or deposit are not refundable.
1.2
Any discount will only apply if the express terms for such discount are satisfied. If the Company allows you to change an existing order such that you no longer satisfy the terms of a discount which was applied earlier, such discount will be withdrawn and you shall pay the full price of the amended order.
1.3
The sale of any product is subject to availability. In the event the product you ordered is unavailable, a refund of the sum or deposit that you have paid for the product will be made to you.
1.4
The representation and / or description of the products displayed on our website, brochures and / or other advertising or marketing materials (collectively "Advertising Materials") are not shown to actual size. The colour of the products as displayed on our Advertising Materials may also not be an exact match of the colour of the actual products. Pictures, photographs or advertisements of a product may include accessories and other peripherals which are used for illustrative purposes only and not part of the actual product sold.
2.
Product price and paying for our products
2.1
Full payment for a product which is in stock shall be made immediately upon placing of the order.
2.2
If a product is not in stock, 50% of the full purchase price of the product shall be made upon placing the order. The remaining 50% of the full purchase price shall be paid before delivery of the product is scheduled.
2.3
Full payment for a product shall be made no later than 5 days before the arranged or estimated delivery date, whichever is earlier. For the avoidance of doubt, title of the product shall remain with the Company until full payment has been received from you.
2.4
All prices of our products are in Singapore Dollars and do not include delivery, assembly or installation charges (where applicable or required). We would be happy to assist you if you require delivery, assembly or installation services and you can approach any of our sales staff for further details.
2.5
Unless otherwise stated, all product prices displayed are not inclusive of Goods & Service Tax (GST) which shall be charged.
2.6
The Company reserves the right to correct any error in the description of a product, including the product price, at any time prior to the delivery of product to you. In the event that you are notified of any error in our description of the product, you will be given the opportunity to either cancel your order, a refund of the sum or deposit, delivery fee that you have paid for the product would be made.
2.7
Unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing, any payment made to the Company shall be forfeited if you fail to take delivery of the product or complete the purchase of a product.
3.
Delivery
3.1
If you require delivery service, all products purchased shall be delivered to the delivery address provided at the time of purchase. The delivery service does not include disposal service i.e.removing used furniture and / or other items from your premises. Any disposal request should be raised to us on the order date and we will charge for such disposal request at our then prevailing rates.
3.2
Our delivery service is on a complimentary basis for orders with a total value (net of GST) of S$2,000 and above. A delivery charge of S$80 for week days / S$120 for weekend days (net of GST) is applicable for orders with a total value (net of GST) of less than S$2,000.
3.3
We deliver our products via lifts; if delivery by stairs is required, a S$15 fee will be levied for per floor per item is carried.
3.4
The recipient of the product at the delivery address provided will be required to sign for the delivery of the products. Our receipt of a signature at the delivery address for any product you purchased shall be evidence that the product has been successfully delivered to you.
3.5
If we are unable to deliver the products by the estimated delivery date, we will inform you as soon as possible of the revised estimated delivery date. While we will endeavour to deliver the product to you on or by the estimated delivery date, you acknowledge and agree that time is not of the essence and we will not be responsible for any delay in delivery.
3.6
You shall ensure that you and / or your appointed representative are present at the delivery address provided on an agreed delivery date. In the event that there is no one to receive the delivery of the product at the designated address, additional charges may be incurred if subsequent attempt(s) to deliver the product to you are required.
3.7
You are responsible for ensuring that there is adequate access and entry to your premises to allow delivery of our products. Any additional cost incurred to access your premises or otherwise deliver the product to you are to be borne by you.
3.8
If you do not collect or arrange for the delivery of your purchased product within one (1) month from the date we inform you that the product is in stock and ready for delivery ("Product Ready Date"), the Company shall levy insurance and storage charges at our then prevailing rates up to the date where you either collect the product or arrange for delivery. If you do not collect or arrange for delivery within two (2) months from the Product Ready Date, the Company shall be entitled to forfeit your purchase and deposit.
4.
Inspection of our products
4.1
Any defect or non-conformance must be notified to the Company immediately and should be noted down any damage on the Delivery Order (DO) which is presented to you for signature. Your signature will be taken as proof of acknowledgement that you have received our products in good and acceptable condition.
4.2
Any defect or non-conformance which may not be immediately apparent at the time of delivery, must be notified to the Company by no later than five (5) days from the date of delivery.
5.
Your right to exchange purchased products
5.1
All payments made for our products are non-refundable. However, if you are dissatisfied with our product for any reason and would like to exchange the product, you will need to provide us with the original receipt and full details of your purchase. Any request for exchange of the product must be made within five (5) days from the date of purchase.
5.2
Any product being exchanged must be unused and in its original packaging, undamaged, resaleable and in the same condition as it was delivered to you.
5.3
Points 5.1 and 5.2 may not be applicable for some of our products, for example those on promotion or clearance. There will be strictly NO product exchange or return for the following product categories:
a) Sales items sold at reduced prices or display items;
b) Used mattresses.
5.4
Any product being exchanged must be of equivalent or higher value than the original purchase.
5.5
Our limited warranty is against manufacturing or product defect, excluding normal wear and tear, misuse and tampering. Servicing after the warranty period is subject to labour charges on top of assessment fee of S$150.
6.
Limitation of liability
6.1
Our maximum aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount received from you for the relevant product(s) purchased.

2.

All prices of our products are in Singapore Dollars and include delivery and installation.
2.5

2.6
The Company reserves the right to correct any error in the description of a product, including the product price, at any time prior to the delivery / installation of product to you. In the event that you are notified of any error in our description of the product, you will be given the opportunity to either cancel your order, a refund of the sum or deposit that you have paid for the product would be made.
2.7
Unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing, any payment made to the Company shall be forfeited if you fail to take delivery and installation of the product or complete the purchase of the product.
3.
Delivery / Installation
3.1
The Company will not be responsible for the workmanship carried out by unauthorized installer and / or for the workmanship carried out with material not sanctioned by the Company.
3.2
No claims can be made against the Company for product damage during transportation by customer.
3.3
A fee of S$100 will be imposed on the customer if the installation to be carried out on the appointed date is cancelled by the customer without prior notice to the Company.
3.4
Product shortage / Product excess:
a) As floor plan provided by the customer may not be exactly to scale, calculations for material sold and delivered may fall short. Customer will have to purchase the shortfall at the same price in order to complete the installation.
b) Products that are not consumed during the installation can be returned to the Company and a refund will be made subject to the products are in its original packaging.
3.5
The recipient of the product at the delivery address provided will be required to sign for the delivery of the products & job completion. Our receipt of a signature at the delivery address for any product you purchased shall be evidence that the product has been successfully delivered and installed to you.
3.6
If we are is unable to deliver and install the products by the estimated installation date, we will inform you as soon as possible of the revised estimated delivery date. While we will endeavour to deliver and install the product to you on or by the estimated installation date, you acknowledge and agree that time is not of the essence and we will not be responsible for any delay in delivery & installation.
3.7
You shall ensure that you and / or your appointed representative are present at the delivery address provided on an agreed installation date. In the event that there is no one to receive the delivery of the product at the designated address, the prevailing delivery charges shall be incurred if subsequent attempt(s) to deliver the product to you are required.
3.8
If you do not arrange for the delivery and installation of your purchased product within one (1) month from the date we inform you that the product is in stock and ready for delivery ("Product Ready Date"), the Company shall levy insurance and storage charges at our then prevailing rates up to the date where you arrange for delivery and installation. If you do not arrange for delivery and installation within two (2) months from the Product Ready Date, the Company shall be entitled to forfeit your purchase and deposit.
4.

Your signature will be taken as proof of acknowledgement that you are satisfied with the works and it is in good and acceptable condition.
4.2
Any defect or non-conformance which may not be immediately apparent at the time of delivery, must be notified to us by no later than five (5) days from the date of installation.
5.
Your right to exchange purchased products
5.1
All payments made for our products are non-refundable. However, if you are dissatisfied with our product for any reason and would like to exchange the product, you will need to provide us with the original receipt and full details of your purchase. Any request for exchange of the product must be made within five (5) days from the date of purchase.
5.2
The above does not be applicable for sales items sold at reduced prices or display items.
